...yesterday as a House committee began hearings into the tangled relationship between the Ford Motor Co. and Bridgestone/Firestone. Firestone CEO John Lampe and Ford head Jaques Nasser presented widely differing explanations for safety problems with the Ford Explorer equipped with Firestone's Wilderness AT tires, and the committee chair, Louisiana Rep.
