Winning every bout, Righeimer defeated three of the regular University fencers, Cassidy, H.B. Wesselman '31, and K. R. Ludlam '33. In 1929 he was intercollegiate champion in both foils and epee, and in the same year he held the national epee championship. Last summer he was a member of the American international fencing team which toured a number of foreign countries. ...epee preliminaries were completed yesterday, with the selection of the following fencers: F. S. Righeimer 2L. H. B. Wesselman '31, H. C. Cassidy '31, and J. D. Allen '31.
