Pierre Salinger, former press secretary to Presidents John F. Kennedy and Lyndon Johnson, met with FBI and Secret Service agents in New York City last week to discuss his claim--picked up from the Internet--that TWA Flight 800 was accidentally shot down by a Navy missile.
