Yesterday afternoon, the 1922 baseball team won a one-sided victory from the M. I. T. Freshman nine, by a score of 11-3. The yearling batters hit Fitzgerald of Technology at will, getting a total of ten safeties, including two-base hits by C. J. Mason, S. R. Smith, and W. B. Rice. Rice pitched a good game for the first eight innings, but weakened in the ninth, when five hits by the M. I. T. Freshmen brought in two runs.
