Murakami's Magic I was thrilled to see the article on Haruki Murakami [Sept. 17]. As a student of literature, I am an avid reader, but I have never come across a writer as engrossing as Murakami. His style varies from descriptions of everyday events, such as cooking spaghetti, to intellectual discussions with total strangers to heart-stopping, beyond-reality experiences.
