...Darling '90 will leave tomorrow night for New London, where he will continue his examination into the physical condition of the University crew. The work, in the main, a repetition of last year's, will consist of careful observations of the temperature and pulse of the men after rowing, the effect of special diet, and similar investigations. Work on the University boathouse has been progressing rapidly, and it is likely that the building will be completed by early summer. The exterior of the house has been considerably changed from the design of the first building. The main roof has been made several feet lower and the pitch reduced, leaving a nearly flat top, 44x50 feet. Three dormer windows at each end of the second story take the place of the row of smaller windows in the original plan. The four projecting balconies at the corners thus appear as towers, 21 feet square, rising above the main roof...

...cricket team lost to Haverford on Saturday by the score of 42 to 208, not out. It was a thoroughly one sided contest, as Haverford was far superior both in batting and in bowling. Sharpless was their main strength in both departments. Harvard had first innings, and through Sharpless' brilliant bowling went out for 42, Lowry being the only man to get double figures. Harvard's bowling was ineffective against Haverford's accurate, dashing play at the wickets, the latter's total being 408 with four wickets to spare...
