Professor Pease graduated at Harvard in 1875 and at Andover in 1880. For ten years he was pastor of the First Congregational Church at Malden. Last May he was elected Bartlett Professor of Sacred Rhetoric at Andover to fill the vacancy caused by the resignation of Professor Tucker, now president of Dartmouth. Professor Pease had the reputation of being one of the finest Hebrew scholars in this country...
