Harvard Square looks like an upscale shopping mall now—Urban on the left, Gap on the right—and it keeps the hours of an upscale mall as well. Most stores close by 8 p.m., most restaurants by 11 p.m. You can’t rent a video at midnight, even on the weekend. ...deals with the Web auction giant. Disney auctioned off the "D" from the original Disneyland sign. Technology titan Sun Microsystems sold server hardware on the site with million-dollar starting prices. Yet despite such big-league partnerships, it's still the little guy that counts. Unlike your local mall, eBay would not survive for a second without mom and pop operations. Its entire success is predicated on extreme diversity. That tape may be very important, because unless the government can show that there was a grenade, the incident may spread alarm in the Albanian community. Also, it could put more strain on the main Albanian party in the government, which...
