DIED. FRANCESCO SCAVULLO, 82, ubiquitous fashion photographer best known for 30 years' worth of provocative Cosmopolitan magazine covers; in New York City. During his teenage years in Manhattan, he served as an apprentice to photographers at Vogue and Harper's Bazaar and was soon shooting photos for those and other prestige magazines.
