...theatre-goer who loves good dramatic literature or who takes pleasure in contemplating an eminently well-bred and well-dressed gentleman cannot but be delighted with "Beau Brummell" as Richard Mansfield shows him to the Globe Theatre audiences. There is an exquisite artistic delicacy in his impersonation of this most noted of English swells, and throughout the play the dialogue is admirable in its terseness and its polish.
