PINPOINTING the problem spots in each Core area and developing course ideas may require some subcommittees to hold marathon brainstorming sessions. They should also send a questionnaire to students--especially freshmen and sophomores--asking what they would like to see added to the Core. This is not to imply that the subcommittees--which each include two students--would be incapable of doing the job themselves.
