From the mediaeval painters there are several examples by Roger van der Weyden, Hugo van der Goes, Hans Memlic and Albert Bonts. ...Fogg Art Museum is now showing as a temporary loan a beautiful Flemish triptych, attributed to Marcellus Koffermans, who, in 1549, was admitted as free master into the Guild of St. Luke at Antwerp. One of his paintings, the "Mystical Marriage of St. Catherine," is dated 1568, and it is likely that the triptych, now on exhibition was painted at about that time. Other pictures by the master are to be found in the Museums of Brussels and Berlin...
