Professor P.B. Marcou '76 has offered for next year a prize of fifty dollars for French Composition to be called the Jeremy Belknap Prize. It will be open to competition by all Freshmen in Harvard College or in the Scientific School, who have passed the advanced French entrance examination, but have not resided in a French-speaking country or spoken French at home.
