Alcomobile sales in Brazil took off. Says Mario Garnero, president of Brazil's National Automobile Industry Association: "We cannot produce enough alcohol vehicles for the public demand." Volkswagen, Brazil's largest automaker, increased its output of alcohol-consuming cars from 5,000 in July to 26,000 in November.
