There is something mystical about the man and his music. Before Bob Marley, reggae was an island; after Marley, reggae was global. And almost 20 years after his death, Marley's influence is still growing. A dance remix of his hit Sun Is Shining is the No. 1 song in U.S. clubs. ...fourth and newest album Burn to Shine, Harper seems to have suffered a belated sophomore slump. In his defense, the standard that he is judged by is a difficult one to uphold. Harper unabashedly admits that he is deeply influenced by the holy Trinity of popular music--Dylan, Marley and Hendrix. No one is expecting him to be the next folk, reggae or guitar God, but Harper does appear to have a refined musical sense. This alone holds him to some level of expectation...

...Well, our sound is a mix of a whole much of musical genres, so I guess this list won't seem that random. My musical heroes are the Beatles, Black Sabbath, Grateful Dead, Beach Boys, Bob Marley and even the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
