...hockey rinks are to be built on Soldiers Field this year, one in the Stadium, the other on the marsh beyond the shooting traps. The second rink will be placed in this position because of the ease with which it can be kept banked and flooded, and will probably be used for the scrub hockey series, while that in the Stadium will be used for the Freshman team. Work will probably be started on these rinks some time this week...
