John Rayner Edmands, S.B., assistant in the Astronomical Observatory, died yesterday at the Johns Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore, Maryland. Mr. Edmands after receiving his degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, was appointed an assistant in the Observatory in 1883.
