Yesterday afternoon the eleven played their first game on Holmes field against the eleven from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. In spite of the chilly, disagreeable weather about four hundred spectators were present. The game was called at 4.20, Goodwin, '84, acting as referee, and Mason, '84, as umpire for Harvard, and Bennett for the institute.
