Forty songs were submitted to the song committee in this year's song competition. Of these forty songs only two have been sung at the mass meetings, and the success achieved by these two has been by no means tremendous. It is true that those on the committee are the most capable persons to choose these songs, but at the same time, it would seem that when as many as forty songs have been handed in, that the students should be given a chance to hear a few more out of these forty.
