With regard to Mr. Lottman's article in today's Review, I should like to mention that, as a resident of the Canton-Massillion area I was able to observe from the outside the effect Music Theatre had on what is in truth a non-intellectual populace, at least if compared with a community such as Cambridge. There was a great deal of good publicity for the group which was circulated on a purely individual basis after Fanny's only moderately successful run and I feel this went a long way toward conditioning audience for The Boy Friend.
