Through an appropriation by the Athletic Committee, the management of the University fencing team has been enabled to engage M. Pierre Pianelli as instructor. M. Pianelli is fencing master at the Boston Athletic Association, and is considered one of the best instructors in America. He is a graduate of the national fencing school of France, the Joinville du Point, and served for twenty years as master in the French army.
