...Lacrosse team played their second practice match of the season on Saturday afternoon against the Cambridge men, and defeated them easily by a score of 4 goals to 0. Both teams were without some of the regular players, but the Harvard team apparently had the better reserve men with which to fill the vacancies. ...result of last Saturday's game, we would advise the lacrosse management to arrange as many matches as possible with the Somervilles, and the other strong teams of eastern Massachusetts. Practice in match-games seems to be what our team most needs. In Saturday's game, our men were in better physical condition than their opponents. They out ran and outwinded them.
