Although the batting of the University team was not as good as usual, Haverford's victory was due rather to its own excellent playing than to any weakness on Harvard's part. ...matches for the University championship will begin on Monday, May 22. The men making the sixteen lowest scores in the qualifying round will enter the first round of match play. The tournament will continue every afternoon until the final round is played off. Medals will be awarded to the winner and the runner-up.
