...worked hard and faithfully, keeping up their training with praiseworthy assiduity; and yet their glorious victory has apparently been utterly forgotten by their apathetic classmates, It may be indeed, that this state of affairs has only existed from a lack of some one to take a lead in the matter; I trust for the sake of eighty-nine's patriotism and class-feeling that this has been the case. Princeton is at last to have a student Conference Committee. By approval and recommendation of the Trustees, the Faculty have taken the initiative step in the matter. It will consist of six seniors, three juniors, two sophomores and one freshman. The election is dated for Jan. 22. ...CRIMSON. - When the freshmen are assailed on every side with so many charges, it seems almost to be treason for one of their number to join in the assault. But forbearance certainly ceases some time to be a virtue and this time seems to have been reached in the matter of the conduct of certain members of English A. The catalogue states that this course deals with the theory and practice of English composition. But some who are taking the course evidently think that it deals with the theory and practice of English conversation, especially with the practice, at least...
