Considerable unjust criticism has been going the rounds of the college of late condemning the recent regulations of the faculty forbidding dropped men from entering as contestants in home athletic games. It is very easy of course to account for the general college sentiment in the matter, and certainly at first thought the restriction does seem harsh. If the student will but fairly ask himself the question, "what after all is the purpose of college life?" he cannot fail to see the justice of the faculty's regulation...
