...just talking about financial institutions or companies in general, such as GM? It applies to any kind of firm that isn't solvent. It doesn't matter if it's a car producer, an industrial firm or a financial firm. It should be encouraged or even compelled to file for bankruptcy. When you keep on bailing out institutions indiscriminately, there is no incentive for them to be prudent in what they're doing, because they know that whatever they do, whatever problems they create by their own behavior, the government will come along and bail them...
...perfectly aligned with a free and open Web. That's its brilliance. Google dominates the Web platform. The more you use the Web, the more likely you are to use its hugely popular search products, and the more ads Google will sell, targeted at you. It doesn't really matter which browser you use to get there - Internet Explorer, Firefox or Google's house browser, Chrome - as long as you use Google Search, Maps and any of the other suite of fine, free Google products...
...that. I don't need to be sitting in front of a governor's desk. In fact, my intention is to go out and to campaign for people who can effect change all across our nation. I can't do that from the governor's desk no matter how careful I were to be, because we've got lots of double standards hitting us. Other governors probably could travel around and campaign for others and speak candidly, using their First Amendment rights to express what they feel about a person, a candidate, a position. I get hit with ethics-violation...
