White Hen Pantry: Located down Mass. Ave. past the Cambridge Common, you'll find the mile walk towards Porter Square worth it if you are a deli maven. It has twice as big a selection of packaged food as the 24 and open the whole day and night. The added bonus is the delicatessen offering, where someone will make you a relatively good deli sandwich and fresh salad. This is the sleeper of the group, and the walk is beautiful these days and should keep you awake if the food doesn...

California is first with a lot," says a media maven for San Diego Mayor Pete Wilson. Right now, the state is first with a lot of candidates to succeed Republican Senator S.I. Hayakawa, 75, who is not seeking reelection. Perhaps to compensate for the movie's so-what story, Stone has also tried to fashion a Hepburn-Tracy relationship for his hero and heroine. Bisset is cast as the world's greatest (and probably thinnest) pastry chef, while Segal plays her ex-husband, a fast-food maven whose philan dering broke up the marriage. Besides, it strains credibility that this...

...best deal I've ever come across in my vast experience as a Christmas maven was a local bank that took pictures of kids (any age) with Santa, then sent you packing with a gift, food and a candy cane pen. Although the pen has long since dried up, the food digested and the toy discarded, the family still has the pictures of Santa and the clan. Some things never change...
