However, many still associate the art programs here with Radcliffe because Radcliffe pays for the majority of the programs' expenses out of its annual budget. The rest of the funding comes out of President Bok's discretionary fund. Mayman says that Radcliffe pays for most of the programs because of "tradition." "There are some programs that were specifically developed by Radcliffe and Harvard doesn't want to pay for them or have anything to do with them," Mayman says.
