WILLIAM G. McADOO, ex-Secretary of the Treasury and aspirant for the Democratic Presidential nomination in 1924, was drawn into the case, because after his resignation from the Cabinet he had been employed to represent the Doheny interests, first at the Capital and then in Mexico, on matters relating to Mexican holdings.
