Republican Senator Arthur Robinson was campaigning for re-election on the grounds that his opponent, Sherman Minton, was picked by Governor McNutt and Governor McNutt's Parole Board freed John Dillinger year and a half ago. Senator Robinson, because of his vicious personal attacks upon the White House and its occupants, would probably be the least missed man in the chamber by his Republican colleagues if defeat came his way this week...
