Last summer, there were never more than 300 men taking their meals at Memorial and as a result the fixed charges were extremely high. Whereas under the present arrangement an initial charge is made of something between thirteen and fourteen cents, figured on the report of March 1, the charges last summer were nineteen cents a meal before any food was served.
