Success of the Ivy League Album has already prompted Band members to cut two now records, although circulation of them must still remain very limited. At its Wednesday night rehearsal, the group transcribed the recent "Radcliffiana" medley, which is to be sold at the Annex with the 'Cliffe Choral Society on the illpover. Prokofiev's March from Opus 99 and Holst's "Suite for Band" will also be printed, but only for private distribution to members...

Everybody that plays in the Harvard Band, from the 11-year-old mascot to the last old grad, has a good time. They also all play well. When they play such excellent arrangements as they did last night, the result cannot help but be a success. Various medleys by Leroy Anderson furnished most of the program, as Director Malcolm Holmes resurrected his early "Tercentenaria," added the necessary amount of Ivy League standbys, and finished with a sparkling new medley of Radcliffe numbers...

Bach's "Happy Lovers," victim of an uninspired performance in Sanders, again suffered from a lack of spirit until the final bars. Weatherhead is one of a talented trio of ex-Freshmen swimmers who established a medley relay record in last year's yearling Yale meet with 3:12.1 for the 300 yards. Breast stroker Larry Ward may still work into the lineup, and backstroker Tom Woods is the leading backstroker. Woods has other distinctions besides being the third College man to bear his name, and son of Thomas S. Woods, JF, an all-American Crimson football player in 1920.
