...University track team won an overwhelming victory in the thirty-fourth annual meet of the Intercollegiate. Association of Amateur Athletes of America, held in the Stadium Saturday afternoon. Harvard's total of 39 1-10, points was greater than even the most sanguine had predicted. Yale was second with 25 7-10 points, and Pennsylvania and Cornell had a close struggle for third place with 22 1-2 and 20 1-2 respectively. Yesterday's trials were most encouraging. All the members of the team showed up to good advantage, and qualified wherever they were expected to. With a warm day today, as predicted, there should be an all-around improvement, and although a definite forecast of a big track meet is practically impossible, a very cheerful view can reasonably be taken of Harvard's prospects...
