There are several plots, all rather involved, but the movie has been assembled quite expertly and intelligently. The cast, with the exception of Adolphe Menjou who is a back slapping high-pressure salesman and quite unsuited to the part, could not have been better. Joan Blondell is a charming gold digger, and Guy Kibbee is as ludicrous as Harpo in his blonde chasing escapades...
