Among those present were Miss Annie Sweeney of Railroad Avenue who was becoming in a neat little outfit of salmon georgette whose host for the evenings' merriment was none other than Lalapunta's pride, Anthony Hogginswifter, president of the Blah. But with no discourtesy intended the choice of old Ant as the boys call him, we feeel it only just to say that the treasurer of the university's humorous publication had the pick of the town...

...Madame Behave" Julian Eltinge is allowed to do all the cute things that Sid Chaplin forgot to do in "Charley's Aunt." There are some moments of genuine slap-stick merriment, when Julian's trousers peep from below his skirt and Ann Pennington treats him like a sister. The latter incidently does a near- ly perfect Charleston: one of the two things for which she is noted. But where as Sid Chaplin made an extremely homely and ridiculous woman, Julian Eltinge is far too natural and graceful to be interesting. It is only as a men that he seems ridiculous

...green grass in the Yard, and its general park-like appearance attract throngs of happy children to gambol and frolic up and down the steps of Widener and all about the buildings, filling the air with their merry shouts and laughter. Nothing is more truly delightful than the spontaneous merriment of children, but innocent and pleasing as it may be, a library where students are busily preparing for examinations is not the place for it. There is no need to emphasize the desirability of quiet in the Library. A word from one of the attendants or Yard policemen will suffice...
