...album June 18, a few hours after a political breakfast at which I met the girlfriend of a guy named Skwerl. It was, as you might guess, a Democratic event. After the breakfast, Mrs. Skwerl, mistaking me for a metalhead (must condition hair more), informed me that Skwerl had just posted Chinese Democracy on his blog at antiquiet.com and gave me the tracks. I have never been this excited about having an album. I play it all the time, everywhere. This is despite the fact that I don't like Guns n' Roses or heavy metal. Which is far outweighed...
...pleased with the performances of Chris Farley and Adam Sandler. Both Saturday Night Live regulars made the movie bearable and actually pretty funny at times. In one scene Farley rips an earring off a rebel rocker and, well, let's just say the earring was not attached to the metalhead's ear. Sandler was charming with his portrayal of a stupid drummer for the Lone Rangers band. Much unlike Sandler, Brendan Fraser ("School Ties" and "With Honors") is pathetic as lead singer Chazz. He does not look like a lead singer, he does not act like a lead singer...
