George S. Morris, the well-known professor of philosophy at University of Michigan, died at Ann Arbor, Michigan, last Sunday. He graduated at Dartmouth in '61, and was a tutor there in '63-'64. Later he studied in Germany. In 1870 he was appointed a professor of modern languages and literature in the University of Michigan.
