Four Harvard alumni have been appointed to fill vacancies on the Harvard Fund Council, governing board of the Fund. They are F. M. Alger '99 of Detroit, Michigan; Dr. E. G. Stillman '08 of New York City; P. C. Cabot '21 of Boston; and Lawrence Coolidge '27 of Boston. Thus far in 1929 the Fund has received contributions from 5,698 alumni; it is closing its fourth year of operation...

...Crimson in its practice sessions this week will polish up its devastating passing attack that almost toppled Michigan and perfect its running plays. Yesterday in the signal drill more attention was also given over to laterals than has been for a long time. Indications are that even though the lateral pass has this year given way to the forward as Harvard's chief offensive threat it will be resurrected for the Eli clash.
