Once the "commander" of what he called the First Alabama Cavalry Regiment Constitutional Militia, which published antiterrorism screeds, Vanderboegh is the past Alabama state director of the Minutemen. Great White North's principals, Mike Kerkmann and Barbara Goldberg, started the company in 1993 by organizing a single event in Toronto.
