Inside, the cavernous space (which includes a huge bar, for one night only) has been decked out not for clowns and acrobats but for a fashion show?one far bigger than those usually staged in Paris, Milan and New York. While the 94 models walking the runway are all habitués of those venues, not one face in the front row at this show (make that shows?five of them back-to-back, with a break for supper) is familiar to anyone who frequents the fashion circuit...
Topping It Off At the fall 2008 menswear shows in Milan, the must-have accessories were hats?from nubby caps to huge fur trappers. At Burberry Prorsum, designer Christopher Bailey gave his military caps a rugged country look, while Alexander McQueen's giant fox-fur hats had a wind-blown Tibetan vibe. And Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana replayed their English rock-'n'-roll favorite: the 1970s-style Carnaby...
Volunteers living near four major European airports with night flights - in Athens, Milan, Stockholm and London - took part in the study published this week in the European Heart Journal. Study participants were outfitted with ambulatory blood pressure monitors, which were programmed to take readings at 15-min. intervals throughout the night. The volunteers' bedrooms were also equipped with an MP3 recorder and a noise-meter, which recorded all ambient noise, its timing and its volume. Researchers considered a "noise event" to have occurred if any sound, from road traffic, aircraft or a partner's snoring, exceeded 35 decibels...

After that goal, Mrazek would leave the game after only 20 minutes in net, and Corey Milan would take over for the rest of the night.Despite the fast start, the Crimson is still somewhat frustrated that the team was not able to maintain its assertive style of play in the third period and allowed the Dutchmen to gather momentum and net two goals in the third...

Coats of every color turned up on runways here, while retailers joked that they were the one item they didn't necessarily need, given the recent fluctuations in weather. Still, designers did their best to give coats a grand, new twist, whether they were supersized shearlings like the one that opened Dolce & Gabbana's rock 'n' roll-inspired show or the exotic, Tibetan-inspired poncho shearling and paisley embroidered coats at Alexander McQueen's Mongolian-meets-Mayan...
