Built for New Jersey's Wallace Laboratories, makers of meprobamate (best known as Miltown), the model illustrated both basic brain physiology and the effects of various tranquilizing drugs, as reported by Dr. Harold E. Himwich of Galesburg State Research Hospital in Illinois.
