...just a large quotient of raciness distinguishes this year's summer theater group, made up of Harvard undergraduates and June graduates. In addition to the group's normal two major productions at the Loeb Drama Center, the company has organized an ambitious five-week workshop festival, including drama, dance, mime, and staged readings...

...Tibetan Book of the Dead,a ceremonial performance integrating mime, dance, and recitation of scripture, provides us with an excellent opportunity to understand one of Tibet's most sacred rites--the ceremony preceding the final moments of a dying person's life. Slight of build, with an eminently squinchy face, McKellen is not an overwhelmingly noble presence. His Shakespearean range is probably closer to Ralph Richardson's than Olivier's. Proceed in an orderly fashion.) After two more years and yet another record company (his sixth), Bowie produced his first important album. Hunky Dory was a hothouse of lush rock that contained such Bowie perennials as Changes, Oh! You Pretty Things and the enigmatic The Bewlay Brothers. That song may have been an oblique allegory of David and Terry Jones, who has spent much of his adult life...
