There was no goal kicked from this touchdown, as the ball by some mistake was kicked toward the side of the field instead of towards the goal-posts. This mishap, however, turned out favorably for the Glee Club as they got the ball and Merrill scored another touchdown from which no goal was kicked. The Pierian now started in to play, and the quarterback made some frantic efforts to run but without success. A timely kick carried the ball well...
