Moving slowly through shallow reefs two weeks ago, a battered shrimp boat carrying a Nicaraguan newspaper editor and three Miskito Indian sailors approached the tiny Caribbean island of Quita Sueño (literally "takes away sleep"), 140 miles off Nicaragua's coast.
