...because Korie has a knack for clever lyrics; I'd never heard eunuch and Punic rhymed before. For the "Drift Away" bridge he conjures a lovely wistfulness - "Our tete-a-tetes, midnight duets, / Our breakfast tea and toast, / Funny how things that mean the least/ Are what we'll miss the most" - that approaches the pop poetry of Broadway's Golden Age lyric masters...

Bush had come to Hanoi, once the capital of godless North Vietnam, for an annual international forum, the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation meeting. Attendance at such summits is perhaps the part of the presidency he will miss least, press conferences excepted. And this time, he had more to fret about than staged intimacy and flabby bloviating. What about a nation that overwhelmingly backs its President when he sends troops into battle, then sours on the idea when swaths of society decide that intervention was a mistake? That was the U.S. in 1968, and it's the country Bush could wind...

...climactic moment. Jason is an amalgamation of every nerdy-sensitive teen ever to hit the WB, but beyond that we get very little from his character.Weakest of all is Donna Bullock as Becca, despite the fact that the part is so beautifully written. Her performance we miss the fragility that rounds out the character and allows us to sympathize. Injured during last year’s remarkable Harvard-Yale contest, senior wideout Corey Mazza will be difficult for the Bulldogs to miss this time around. Mazza, who leads the Crimson receiving corps in every category, has only been kept out of the end zone in two games this year. Yale cornerbacks Paul Rice and Casey Gerald will answer the call to shut down Mazza, and should expect man-coverage thanks to the premium the Bulldog defense will surely put on stopping Clifton Dawson. It won’t be Mazza’s last edition of game, however?...
