...first social of the current year at Jacob Sleeper Hall last evening. A large number of the students were present and the faculty was represented by Dean Huntington and Profs. Browne, Buck, Dorchester, Curry and Lindsay. The entertainment consisted of songs from Tennyson by Mr. L. B. Greenwood and Miss Conant, and a representation of Tennyson's "Dream of Fair Women," the parts being taken by Misses Teele, Root, Hoag, Gooding, Shinn, Clarke, Latham, Small and Thomas; Mr. Magee, '88, taking the part of the dreamer. After the entertainment refreshments were served, followed by the singing of college glees...
