...regular weekly meeting of the Christian Association was held in Holden Chapel last evening at 6.45 o'clock. The subject of the meeting was the opportunities for mission and philanthropic work in and about Boston. W. W. Comfort led the meeting, and G. Gleason '97, E. Von Mach Gr., H. K. Stanley '97 and B. Barton '98 spoke on the various missions with which they are connected. A Chinaman from the Chinese missions spoke in behalf of his countrymen. Twenty-two men were elected to membership and a number of new names were proposed...

...meeting of the Christian Association this evening, the opportunities which are offered to Harvard men to do missionary and philanthropic work in Boston will be set forth, and the various enterprises of this sort which are carried on by the Christian Association, such as the Sailor Mission and the Chinese Sunday School, will be described by men who have been intimately connected with them.
