...Bartley’s Gourmet Burgers, a renowned Square institution, has an extensive and very good menu of high-quality burgers named after politicians, professors, and other notables. Make no mistake, these are tasty burgers—we like the simple “Mitt Romney” with cheese and grilled onions, but there are options to suit any fancy. The frappes, fries, and onion rings are similarly scrumptious...

Since JFK, who has a lot to answer for when it comes to the overvaluation of charisma, Americans have liked their leaders to be handsome or heroic, preferably with a thatch of dark hair and a trim waistline. It doesn't always work (otherwise Mitt Romney would be in the White House) but it does mean that it's not surprising that two of the foreign leaders who have most made an impression in the U.S. are the young Tony Blair and French President Nicolas Sarkozy. ...turn them into action. Founded by Virginia Representative Eric Cantor, the No. 2 House Republican, its birth was announced on President Obama's 100th day in office with the support of GOP leaders in both chambers as well as former Florida Governor Jeb Bush and former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney, who both spoke on Saturday alongside Cantor. The audience consisted mainly of Washington Republican consultants and Cantor supporters who received word from his e-mail listserv. The three struck a moderate tone. "It's time for us to listen, first, to learn a little bit, to upgrade our message...
