...clever work by Wylde at goal prevented a score. Percy broke away soon after this, and had a clear shot at the goal, but Donahue made a pretty stop, and Rice played the puck in from the side a minute later, scoring the first goal. Thacher tallied from a mix-up near the cage a few minutes later, and Baldwin did the same almost immediately afterwards. The final goal came after a particularly pretty piece of team-work by the strong second-string forward line. The whole line broke away with W. Morgan carrying the puck. Morgan passed to Fisher...

...next few minutes the University seven was completely outclassed, making only a few weak attempts at scoring, while Huntington, skating through the University defence, caged the puck, and Sands repeated the trick, making a clean goal. A few seconds later he scored from a mix-up. After the regulars had worked for about fifteen minutes, Coach Winsor sent in the second, string line, and they scored two more goals. Phillips started several good rushes...

Bliss scored the University's third goal on a quick shot from the side, and then Scott tallied for the second team, driving the puck in from a mix-up near the goal. The University men were too fast on their skates for the second team, and broke away frequently only to lose a chance to score by weak shooting. The scrubs, however, put up a stiff fight and rushed the puck into the opposite danger zone several times...
