...such candidate for new critical acclaim is commercial art, graffiti is the democratic underdog. It presents itself on a daily basis to almost anyone living in a city. Of course there are reasons why Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) curators don't run down to the grafitti streets with open arms. Graffiti is one of the most objectionable forms of art, as it can be difficult to distinguish between creativity and malicious vandalism...
...Harry's parentless adventures are not unique in the world of children's literature. Instead of falling through a rabbit-hole or walking through a wardrobe, Harry journeys to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry on a secret wizard train leaving from downtown London. Though the setting is modern, the basics of Harry's story ring familiar. Julia Roberts as Maggie Carpenter is everything a man can fear in a woman: pretty and sweet but a heartbreaker...
...anymore. Beyond the famous Feldstein and those Moral Reasoning cores, Sanders is host to a wide array of musical events. A cappella is quite popular here, as are orchestral, choral and ethnic music events and the occasional speech or awards ceremony. Once in a blue moon, a modern music show will play (Dar Williams' Cry Cry Cry for one), but Sanders is usually strictly Harvardian musical fare...
